Maca root is a cruciferous vegetable coming all the way from the Andes mountains in Peru. Heru’s Maca root blend is a proprietary formula consisting of Yellow, Red, and Black maca root. Maca root is world renown as it boasts its high Amino acid, Vitamin C, and Iron content. Yellow Maca is the most common Maca that grows in the Central Andes Mountains of Peru. It is taken by both the men, women including children and even the elderly. Several studies indicate that the plant contains flavonoids proven to decrease anxiety and depression.
